Information on the limited-edition autumn paper-cut goshuin (temple/shrine stamp)

This season's paper-cut goshuin features Okuninushi-no-Mikoto and the rabbit from the Japanese myth of "The White Rabbit of Inaba." The delicate, three-dimensional paper cutout depicts Okuninushi-no-Mikoto gently saving the injured rabbit by teaching it the correct treatment, and the rabbit recovering its health.

Furthermore, starting this season, we have added a new feature: each Goshuin (temple/shrine stamp) is individually stamped with gold leaf. The gold leaf, which shimmers elegantly whenever it catches the light, beautifully enhances the autumn colors and the world of mythology, and is adorned with ginkgo leaves that have taken on the colors of autumn.

Please also pay attention to the special mechanism where, when you open the book containing the Goshuin (temple/shrine stamp), a scene from the story comes to life.

This season's limited-edition goshuin (temple/shrine stamp) was also created by Komamaro, a paper-cutting designer who has a workshop in Arashiyama, Kyoto.
