Winter limited edition paper cutting goshuin stamp information
This winter-themed paper cut-out goshuin (temple seal) depicts the vermilion torii gate, a symbol of our shrine, and the sacred beast, the rabbit.
The background is a design inspired by the "Hakodate Yunokawa Winter Lights," an illumination that colors Yunokawa Onsen in the winter.
The sparkle of the snowflakes and light is combined with the transparency that is unique to paper cutting, making the piece appear even more beautiful when held up to the clear winter sky.
This season's limited edition goshuin stamp was also created by Komamaro, a paper cutting designer with an atelier in Arashiyama, Kyoto.
This special paper-cut goshuin stamp, with its delicate lines and overlapping colors, adds a touch of splendor to the winter at Yukura Shrine.
